Mike Hawke

Mike has been the Vicar of St Christopher's since 1988. Before that he was Vicar of St Peter's, Temuka. He is married to Patsy and they have three adult children; Peter, Lizzie, and Sarah.
Prior to entering ordained ministry Mike was a secondary school teacher, teaching Social Studies, Geography, PE and English. He is a keen sportsman, playing cricket and squash and enjoys watching all sports when time allows. Mike is always looking for new challenges. |

Tristan brings a "willing mind" a "ready hand" and a "passionate heart"
to her ministry with and among children and families. She has a big heart for God and people. Husband Stephen enjoys the outdoors as a landscaper and is very supportive of Tristan. |

Geoff Toy

Geoff, a retired pharmacist who joined our parish in 1965, was ordained in 1990. He has been part of our team here for the past 16 years. Geoff's responsibilities cover some of our older parishioners - through the 7.45am service on Sundays and the 10am service on Wednesdays. |

Jim Robb Assistant Priest |
Jim ably supports his wife Sandra in Pastoral care. His ordination experience and his time spent as a hospital chaplain ideally equip him as a member of our clergy and staff teams. He has a love of classical music is a follower of English football and in his free time, enjoys stamp collecting. |

Pip Mabin
Small Groups, & Discipleship Coordinator |
Pip has belonged to small groups for the past thirteen years, and became our Small Groups and Discipleship co-ordinator in 2007. Before joining the team at St Christopher’s she taught English as a second language in Christchurch and overseas. She is married to Mark and they have an eight-year-old daughter Sarah. Pip enjoys walking, especially with her Jack Russell terrier, Eddie. |

Nicki Davison
Newcomers Coordinator

Nicki took on this role in April, 2009. She enjoys meeting people of all ages, and is relishing the contact she is having, not only with newcomers, but also with members from all of the congregations. She has been married to Pat for almost 30 years, and they have five sons, three of whom still live at home. They have been parishioners since 1990; for them St Christopher's is a great place to worship and grow spiritually.

Sandra Robb Pastoral Care Coordinator |
Sandra brings her motherly heart and an extensive experience of church life to her role as Pastoral Care co-ordinator. Her definition of Pastoral care is simply "having conversations of hope" and embraces the parish as extended family. |

Georgina Mac Rae
Vicar's Personal Assistant |
Georgina and family (husband Gordon, Joe(16) Grace(9)) migrated from Capetown South Africa in 2007 and eventually discovered St Christophers over our Jubilee weekend in 2009.
The family are especially enjoying deepening people relationships within the community and parish, and Georgina especially with our Vicar Mike as his PA. She was previously employed as an architectural designer in Capetown, has a fascination for things "old" and says enjoys singing loudly in the shower! |

Helen Figg

Helen with husband Chris have 4 children and migrated from the UK at the end of 2009, from a community involved church of approximately 300 members. As a family they have a love of the outdoors, so they are bound to settle quickly and begin exploring New Zealand. Helen is an IT professional and will bring this expertise to her position as Communications Officer. |

Don brings his love and wide experience of worship music to enrich our services each week. He can be described as a "kingdom builder" as his handyman skills are wide and varied and in great demand. He and wife, Linda moved down from Auckland a few years ago and enjoy their role as proud grand parents. |
