The Marriage Course
How to build a strong and healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime
The Marriage Course is based on a DVD fronted by Nicky and Sila Lee who are co-authors of The Marriage Book. They have been married for over 30 years and are based at Holy Trinty Brompton in London - the home of the Alpha movement.
Availability of courses is dependant on demand expressed. Currently there is not a course scheduled.
The evenings are designed for any married couple wishing to build a strong and lasting relationship.
Topics covered include:
- Building Strong Foundations
- The Art of Communication
- Resolving Conflict
- The Power of Forgiveness
- The Impact of Family - Past and Present
- Good Sex
- Love in Action
Each couple's privacy is respected as there is no group discussion and no requirement to disclose anything about their relationship to anyone else.
The course, while based on Christian principles, is very helpful for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background.
The evenings begin with a candlelit dessert and coffee, and then there is a talk followed by an opportunity for the couple to discuss the topic together.
The cost of the course is $75 per couple.
The course takes place over eight evenings from 7pm to 9.45pm at the church.
