Jesus is the way, however to locate St Christopher's, we have some directions below and two maps - one to give the general idea of location between the airport and Cathedral Square, and one a little more detailed.

By foot or car
The drive of St Christopher's Avonhead is parallel to Coniston Avenue, off Avonhead Road. The car-park is alongside the church - it holds approximately 40 cars and on Sundays it fills up fast!
Parking is also possible in the residential streets around the church, though there is a restriction - no parking on the northern side of Coniston Avenue during services on Sundays.
By bus
From the central city Bus Exchange, the following buses are available and will get you to within 5 minutes walk of St Christopher's.
3 Avonhead and/or Airport (via University - Ilam Road entrance) - a Red bus
Get off the bus either at the corner of Avonhead & Maidstone Roads and walk down Avonhead Road towards the airport to the church, or continue through until Avonhead Mall and walk east down Merrin Street to Avonhead Road, then turn right and walk one block to the church.
23 Hyde Park (via University - Creke Road entrance) - a Blue bus
Get off the bus just before the corner of Avonhead & Grahams Roads, and walk along Avonhead Road to the church.
