Sunday Services
The St Christopher's Children's & Families Ministry Team are committed to leading children into the excitement of living as disciples of Jesus.
Programme @ 9.00 and 10.30am Sunday services.
In-service alternative for children who wish to stay in church with their parents. We have a variety of dynamic and creative programmes for children from birth through 11 years each Sunday morning.

Cherub Charming Creche
For under 2 year olds in the Geoff Toy room, off the Warren Hall.
Beans & Sprouts
Story, music and play for: 2 to 3 year olds (beans) and 3 to 4 year olds (sprouts) in the chapel
FX (FaithXplosion)
Imagine a group of around 50 kids (Years 2 to 6 school level) coming together for 45 minutes of singing, laughter, games, special events and Bible teaching. This is FX, or Faith Explosion.
The children are part of the Family Service, worshipping with their families and the wider church family at 10.30am and are released about 10.40am after Pass the Peace, for their personalised programme.
The Children’s and Families ministry will be using a new programme this year which is the Storybox Programme by Strandz. Strandz is part of the Anglican Church in New Zealand and provides resources and assiatnce for children's ministry.
The Storybox programme is a well laid out lectionary based programme that works on a 3 year cycle. You can look through this programme at www.strandz.org.nz – click Resources, Storybox.
We make opportunity for the children to rejoin their parents for communion at the end of the service.
Enthusiastic gifted leaders aim their teaching at the specific age level of the children they take and interweave activities and games with the lesson.
Special family events
These are held at least once a term to emphasise the family nature of what we do.
